The artists themselves (Yasemin Baydar and Birol Demir, collectively known as :mentalKLINIK) playfully call it: ‘The art of idiocentric duty and idiocentric beauty.’ In this case, idio - centric duty transforms whatever it encounters into an object of its occupation, while idiocentric beauty transforms the onlookers into mesmerized subjects.
